Let Us Not Give Up Meeting Together
By Chad Zoll
The title is actually part of a verse of the Bible. Hebrews 10:25 (NIV) states, “Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” The writer of Hebrews gives us two commands that are linked: Meet together and 2. Encourage each other. These commands are linked in that when we meet together, we are to encourage each other.
Sunday morning worship is structured for us to come together to worship the Lord. However, it isn't always easy to listen to each other and encourage each other through individual interaction. Thus, small group Bible Study is a great alternative for a group of people to come together and encourage each other and share what the Lord has been teaching them.
