Lester Boss was born in Pittsburgh but grew up on Cape Cod until he was twelve when he lived in Cleveland then Pittsburgh. He graduated from Shadyside High School and went to the University of Pittsburgh where he received his degree in Physics and Engineering in 1952. He met Gussie Marshall through the Roger Williams Fellowship at First Baptist Church. They married in June 1953 and have children, Peggy, Janet, Marshall and Gene. Lester worked at Westinghouse as a manufacturing enginner before retiring in the mid-1980's. Lester enjoys traveling and working on the computer where he definitely prefers a MAC. At First Baptist, he serves as a Trustee and the church's "web apprectice". He has also served as a deacon, attended Wednesday Bible Studies and together, he and Gussie produce the monthly church newsletter.
