Welcome to First Baptist Church of Pittsburgh. Below, we hope you will find answers to some of your initial questions when choosing to visit FBC for the first time.

A: We are located at 159 North Bellefield Avenue, at the corner of N. Bellefield and Bayard Street, a couple blocks from the Univ. of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning. This is also the intersection of Bigelow Blvd. and Bayard St. Click here to view the map. FREE Parking for Sunday worship is available in lot at the rear entrance of the church, off of Bayard Street.
A: Worship service starts at 11:00 am. During the winter months (end of December through February), we meet in the library. Sunday School starts at approximately 10:00 am. under the balcony in the library.
A: If you arrive before worship service, the main way to enter is through the parking lot entrance (Bayard St.). Through the doors, you will see the office on your left. Here, you will meet our church secretary and bookkeeper, Michelle Juran. You may also meet some of our Deacons or Trustees: Chad Zoll, Petroula Zoll, Casey Gnage, and Van Beck Hall. In the library, you will meet Pastor Gary Denning, as well as some of our congregation members.
If you arrive for the service and enter through the front entrance doors (Bellefield Ave.), you will meet our ushers: Chad Zoll, Casey Gnage, Eugene Boss, and Joe Cosetti.
Please fill out a visitor card so we can get in touch with you. You can put your completed card in the offering plate, or hand it to one of the ushers.
A: Yes, there is a ramp at the rear of the church adjacent to the parking lot entrance on Bayard St. We have an accessible restroom conveniently located on the first floor. The church also has a chairlift to the fellowship hall located on the lower level.
A: No, not at the moment -- but we do have a nursery, playroom and baby changing stations. Please let us know how we can assist you.
